Why Use Dille-Kopanyi Reagent to Identify Barbiturates
The Dille-Kopanyi Reagent is an example of a presumptive drug test (PDT) tool whose main purpose is to help identify the presence of barbiturates in a sample. This typically forms a mixture of two solutions where part A represents 0.1g of acetate dehydrate in a hundred milliliters of methanol and part B is 0.2ml of acetic acid (glacial).
Why use Dille-Kopanyi Reagent?
The test is fairly simple to use. In fact, you can see results even in just a few seconds after testing. These results are interpreted based on the colorimetric reagent. In this case the Dille-Kopanyi Reagent is colored purple, indicating that there is a complex structure of two barbiturate molecules.
This reagent can only be tested with the guidance of professionals. With that said, you can be reassured that the results from the testing will never be jeopardized at all. While this testing kit sells at a low price, you can be sure that its effectiveness as a tool will never be sacrificed.
